Even though it doesn’t look like much, I’ve replaced most of the critical and small diameter vacuum lines for the engine with silicone hoses . Why blue? Because I can. (I’m able to better identify them amongst the hordes of black wires and hoses.
How’d I do it? I went into my PDFs of all the 924 factory service manuals, printed out and taped together the diagram and placed that ‘90s Windows Mouse Maze game.
After this is more electrical and multimeter diagnosis for my no-start issues. But I’ll say the sparks I had in the car were wet. Good thing I had an extra set sitting on the shelf to replace them with.

It's actually pretty cool to have different lines color coded. It would be nice to have everything color coded like that. I'm not a huge fan of garish monochromatic engine bays, but I could definitely go for some functional coloration.

But I didn’t use the wrong tube type lol. I’d be more concerned with the clamps failing.

thats fair. I HATE all the fasteners for hoses. its either a screw you cant fucking screw unless its like 90% on alrealy, or those stupid little snap clamps that are SUCH. A PAIN. IN THE ASS.

Honestly would’ve preferred those snap clamps for as much a PITA they are. I’m using #4 hose clamps (smallest Home Depot had) on 6mm tubing and if it weren’t for the barbed nipples, they might eventually push off.
The original clamps were cylinders crimped onto the nipples and had to be muscled off. Could’ve gotten similar ones of McMaster but was too lazy. Snap Bastards are next if this fails.
